Seeing one persons, or one organizations perspective on a subject all the time isn’t really a healthy way to get information. This is when bias ideas form, and is unhealthy for a community. This is something that we over look on blogs. Most of the time, a blog is written by one person, and they are expressing their views and ideas. Sometimes, it is a good thing to mix up the routine of your blog. You can do this in multiple ways.
1. Guest Bloggers
Guest bloggers are really a good idea. Having someone blogging an article a month or something similar can really benefit your blog. The readers get diversity in views and even styles of writing. Your guest blogger can come from many different sources. Maybe a different friend each month, or user submitted stories to your blog.
2. Group Blogging
This is something that seems to be occurring in the professional world. This is very similar to journalism, but is more personal. Sites such as WebProNews and Mashable use a similar style.
3. Partnering with Another Blog
This is a combination of Group Blogging and Guest Bloggers, the concept is that you “trade” stories with another blog that has very similar content. You create an article for them, and vise versa. Not only does this add diversity to your blog, but it also allows your article to be viewed by people who may never have visited your own blog.
The diversity that these suggestions provide, could even draw in more viewer who wouldn’t have looked at your blog if you were the only writer on it. It also helps your blog not grow stale to the readers, and expands the content. Some of the suggestions even give you the benefit of taking a little time off, which is a personal gain.

Great advice here
I enjoy guest blogging. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I actually opened up my blog for guest bloggers a month ago. Group blogging is something that I’d like to try. Seems fun especially on how they do it on BloggingTips.
Also, for partnering with other blogs, the more formal term is joint venture. Just sharing.
There is another phenomenon, mostly among personal blogs that over a period of time, many bloggers retain their blogs and post but at the same time visit each other’s blogs and comment, thus creating quite nice networks, which also keep expanding.
Guest bloggers are a good way to create attention, particularly if you can get hold of someone seen to be famous or whatever. Since it can be done remotely, you’d be surprised who would be willing to blog for you…
I’m a frequent visitor of Masahable, as I loved their exquisite writing style!
I’m fully agree with above post. Everyone should expand the diversity of his/her blog. Their are all the information should be unique and meaningful..
thanks a lot
Nice range of ideas i had never thought of it before but you had given a good inspiration.
I love that blogs are do follow know. I wish all blogs would follow your blog. I just want to say that for keeping it do follow.
Guest blogging is an excellent idea. There are some local food enthusiasts in my region that do this and they ended up with a real killer blog
I think a lot of people are looking to guest blog too.
To really keep up a good blog it’s pretty necessary to write frequently, something not everyone has the time to do. I think lots of people, however, are looking to write something here and there.
I haven’t heard of blog partnering-i like it though!
Nice and Useful Tips. Thanks for sharing Th Info.
As they say, diversity is the spice of life, and it is no different in the online world. I think expanding the ideas you present on your blog through others is a great idea. Even though its your blog, having other outlooks (through a guest blog etc) can really help shape your blog. It can actually help the uniqueness of your blog as well.
Till then,
Jean
Group contribution can be very stimulating and when two conflicting view points emerge then people are eager to see the outcome. People love drama!
The suggestion you mentioned above pretty nice. Because in every field diversity is essential, and for a blogger its essential to include every blogging feature..
Hey, a whole Fair & Balanced new blogging era could be a neat thing.
Mix it up a bit.
I’ve been placing more and more bets recently and finding myself to be a regular bettor. Recently I’ve been looking for a little more insight than my own assumptions and analysis and was wondering if anyone could recommend a sports betting blog that updates regularly.
Guest blogger, we have to make very good realtion ship if we want to be guest blogger in a blog. I did it once long time ago
wow, wonderful tips! nice stuff dude!
Blog sharing with other bloggers is a very nice idea.
It can definitely create exposure to both of the bloggers. It’s like the retweeting phonomenon happening in Twitter. Thanks!
Guest posring is great. You get to introduce your readers to some new ideas and you don’t even need to do anything. Amazing!
Great tips for bloggers out there. I never thought about partnering up. I’m definitely going to look for a partner to exchange content with here and then.
Really awesome post.Nice diversities for expanding our blog

Best Tips 4 Blogging
Posting a relevant blog is the best blog of all. Some people post blog just to tell the world that they have blog and that’s not a good idea. When someone post a blog there’s should be a sense or a moral lesson.
Great advice. I always thought that the more ppl you add to your group – the more visible you’ll be. The catch is – make sure they are not just bloggers – but good or great bloggers.
Bill Gates didn’t build MS with a few people around him. He built it with great people that were very talented.
You know, I’m not sure about this tip.
Sure, if I only read one blog then hearing different points of view on it would be helpful.
But I read lots of blogs – as do most people.
If I want a different POV, I’ll read a different blog. I come to your (or anyone else’s) blog for your POV.

[...] Expanding the diversity of your blog [...]
Posting by guest blogger, i think good choice, thanks for sharing.
It is true that you should look at every angle. A blogger is just speaking their opinion. Take in to account that is my not all be factual.
yeah, having a ghost blogger has it ups and downs. The good thing is that you can take a break from bloging ! LOL But the downside is, they can’t really connect with your readers like you can, so their articles sound more impersonal and not as attention pleasing. But, it does help with diversity, but I think its best to have guest bloggers write newsletters instead of actual post all the time.
Great article. Diversity is the key to many things, especially blogging…
Great advise! I can hear my dad now…Diversity is the key to life…
Love it! great advise..I will honestly input much of this into my business…thanks!
Interesting. I’ve just recently applied to be part of a team blog, and I’m pretty excited about it. Though I’m still considering if there’s actually a good team that will push through with that blog.
So I guess, I’m also considering about the kind of company that I’ll be having with that venture.
Very good post, fairly simple, but I love it.
Diversity rocks in my opinion. Getting feedback/comments from all walks of life will only help your blog.
Guest blogging is a great idea for both people involved. The writer gets exposure for their own site and the blog owner gets unique content from a new angle. Another way to diversify your blog is to do the occasional post about a slightly different topic than you normally cover. Just don’t diversify the topic too much or your blog may lose its identity.
Derald, this is great article. I really agree that we need to diversify our style of writing and be flexible with our contents that we provide to readers.
Problem with Guest bloggers is that they are only intrested to write if we have established blog with high page rank, so they can get backlinks to their site by doing guest post. For new bloggers or blogs with low PR, above metioned methods may not work. But still its great suggestion and I would be trying some of these ideas.
Thanks.

Certainly yes!! Guest blogging is a great idea for both people involved.Great tips for bloggers out there.
Opposite to many (if not all) opinions I see here, I’m a little bit skeptical about this concept of guest blogging. Usually, visitors to any particular blog are attached to a style, to the personality of the blog owner. For me guest blogging is like reading a book where chapter are written by different authors. I doubt it’ll be very interesting
Thanks for that. My blog definitely suffers from the Lone Ranger syndrome. While some people think that only THEY can write stuff that’s interesting to their audience, what I’ve found is that the most profitable bloggers have about 70% or MORE of their blog posts written by other people. Of course, they monitor the posts, but it’s a great way to save time.
The challenge, of course, is to get your blog big enough where it will attract quality guest bloggers. You can join one of those programs where they’ll post stuff to your blog (to add content), but most of it isn’t very good.
Guest blogging can be a great way to bring new perspectives and styles to your website.
Guest blogging has some real advantages, it brings a new perspective to your blog and can provide a breath of fresh air.
Guest blogging sounds like an interesting concept. Once a month I have someone write an article for me, yet I might move it to be more like once a week.
Sometimes readers might be confuse for so many posts. Why not focus on a single area like business. http://www.patdoyle.com/focus-on-adding-value/comment-page-1/#comment-2799
Well, for me as long as my blog is recieving traffic it’s fine. However, i find both concepts, that is, guest blogging and group blogging useful….Thanks for the information provided…
Great Tips. I’m planning to implement the first one. Guest Blogging, soon
Awesome post. I have opened my blog up to guest posting but I have never considered partnering with another blog. I will put some thought into how I can execute that.
This is excellent advice for my blogs. I think that this will help a lot of my work. Guest Bloggers is a great idea. This is a great refresher for my collection of tips to improve my blog.
The guest blogging model is a great way to have a constant stream of fresh content posted to your blog. It does require some moderation, however, so it isn’t a complete “autopilot” system. But, speaking from experience, it is a GREAT option for those who find themselves too limited by time to constantly feed their blogs!
Both Guest blogging and partnering have helped my blogs expand both in width of subjects and depth of comments. I do not always agree with the guest bloggers’ points of view. My readers know my opinions on most subjects. So I do not feel threatened by diversity.
Occasionally, guests bring out information that enlightens me about my opinions. That makes for great reading, too.
Great post, thanks! I’ve setup several blogs myself and now provide the service to my clients. I’m finding the best thing to develop first is a Strategic Online Marketing Plan. All of your ideas are good ones and they fit well into a comprehensive marketing plan. Each also requires human capital and/or financial resources.
Great tips for using social media! When I first tried twitter, I wondered, “what’s the point?!” But it only took a couple of days to catch on. Unfortunately I’ve seen some business people either sending out message after message about what they’re selling. In future this spam will be a problem for social media
I have expanded my blog quite a bit recently and offered it in multiple languages. I think thats a good start.
The 140 character limit on Twitter, really limits what you can express in that amount of characters.
I enjoy blogging very nice article thanks for sharing
Now i more like to invite guest blogger to fill the content of my site, because it’s like build the community of author.
Thanks
David
Another way is to buy articles to post to give your readers a different perspective.
Hi,it is really healthy way to find good info way this post…Thanks for sharing with us….
These suggestions are truly win-win… thank you!
Having guest bloggers would be a great way to make my blog more interesting. It would prevent my blog from being monotonous. Does it need to be bloggers writing on topics similar to mine?
Guest bloggers are a great idea – sometimes a swap can be cool if you know other people with blogs of a similar quality.
Many bloggers are now turning to either Guest Bloggers or setting up a team of bloggers, obviously if a blog grows up then you need a good CMS platform and also various bloggers. WordPress is growing into a powerful CMS which can make things easier for a team of bloggers. It does help bloggers as well because it’ll take the pressure off to manage and tackle the traffic alone by posting articles regularly or daily. It could increase productivity and can be helpful in sticking up with quality content if your blog has gone very much popular and you’re getting thousands of readers per day.
Hi,
I am sure that to get your blog among the people, you must firstly have to keep trying new things as it will make your blog grow.
And the features that you have mentioned like guest blogging and group blogging also helps a lot in establishing credibility to your blog, which is something that every blogger wants.
thank you for useful suggestion…. very good idea to do
bloggers shall team up! one more good idea is to interview a friend-blogger. just mix with your blog niche community.
Definitely, whatever you have said makes sense. Diversity is a great idea and will surely encourage readers to read more as they will discover another point of view and most importantly a different writing style. This is a top post. Thanks for the share.
