The beta release for WordPress 2.7 has been released, and available for for the public since the start of this month (November).
Even though this beta release is not stable enough in IE and Opera, it is very secure within Firefox and Safari.
I have previewed some of the release feature notes on the WordPress Codex Site regarding the 2.7 beta release, and have listed some key advantages below…
- Sticky posts
- Reply to comments from admin
- Comment threading (without having to use a plugin)
- Upgrades/install over SFTP

This looks like a good software. I’ll give it a try. The SFTP installation is a big plus.
Interesting and Exciting WordPress 2.7! Minimal installation of comments related plugin because of its new key features. I’ll surely use WordPress 2.7!
I am not ready at all. I am sure there are a lot of good improvements in new version, but i always prefer more stable versions. Nothing costs me to wait few weeks until everything is being tested and fixed.

I just installed WordPress 2.7 Beta 3 for my blog and it’s awesome. I skipped all the 2.6.* versions and went straight to 2.7 instead. The new admin interface and comment system alone is worth it. I was able to even replace 3-5 plugins with new built-in functions.

It sounds very interesting, but i don’t know, because i prefer stable versions…. Perhaps some things will be better, but i won’t change for this time. I’ll wait till wordpress 2.7 is completed.
I think I’ll wait for the final release too although the new comments feature sounds pretty cool.

It is the good program, but my site hardly moves with it. It is necessary, that WordPress 2.7 worked faster!
