Barry Schwartz (aka RustyBrick) posted an interesting rant about someone taking smack about Search Engine Roundtable’s live blogging of conferences. He has even gone so far as to provide a poll looking to learn what others think.
Read his post to get the whole story. Do you think live blogging is a legitimate medium?
Personally, I think it is a useful way to cover events. And I think readers who are unable to attend said events appreciate the coverage (for the most part).

I agree with you.
I do also. Photos, notes and recordings which are taken in a blog, known as a live blogging, and its useful as cover events.
It’s useful for covering and stuff so it has to be legitimate.
I don’t even know what live blogging is
Good job
I am also agree with you. Blogs should made for latest updates and informations regarding any subjects.
Everyone cannot attend events so live blogging is a good way of covering what has happened.I read an interesting article on ReadWriteWeb.com covering this issue as well and they were talking about a free service called “Cover it live” .

Everybody we should all do what we think is good (as long as it’s legal. Why rag on about your difference of opinion. Just explain your view and let it go. Covering live events with live blogging is simply another techie advance. More people can enjoy the event – what’s not to like.
blogs should display latest content … that what make blog platform differ from other platform … I agree
i believe live blogging can replace llive news, with photo can video, maybe even record sound.
