I got a few more comments when I just did a short list of links, than when I included little explanations with them. I don’t know if here is any real significance to that, but I’ll just go with the quick links format. You can discover what they are for yourselves

Hi Chris,
Um, so I saw a ping from my blog to here – and there I see my post about “The Dinosaur and the Journalist” up there with your Thursday links.
Not sure how you came to pick mine up, but thanks
Danny.
I thought it was a good read. I came across it via StumbleUpon actually. Thanks Danny!
Nice list of informative posts!
On my way to check them out.
Thanks for sharing, and thank you for the link love; it’s appreciated!
Thanks for stopping by Luis. Good post!
Thanks for the link love. I am glad you enjoyed my post.
Thanks for writing it (and for stopping by to comment). Keep up the good work!
I like this one:
“Self Branding: Comments That Leave More Than Just An Opinion”
Why?
Because it tells the naked truth!
Thanks for posting! Will check those links out.
Interesting links but it would be nice to have a 1-sentence description for each.
I’ll keep that in mind (although I got more comments this time too
)
It’s good to see my main man creadiv getting some link love, he needs all the help he can get now he’s in a competition with me
I’m not a huge fan of guest posts. The odd one is usually good to give a different slant but I tend to prefer the style of the main poster, hence why I return again and again.
Some will take the opposite view no doubt.
That’s actually a really good point. Guest posts are good sometimes, but if you overdo them, you risk alienating your readers. That’s another reason why it’s good to get someone who is already well-known and/or respected in your niche if possible (though it’s not always).
On the other hand, a guest post every now and then can freshen things up. Just don’t have guests post more than you post yourself, unless you really intend to open up the blog into more of a community-driven project than it already is.
Its really enlightening links. Thanks for sharing.
Does that even make sense? I don’t know how you manage to get your comments approved with that anchor text and that quality standard.
Nice link show! I love them!
Firts of all. thanks again for sharing your little links. What about just putting them up with a short description? Great read though.
