This is interesting news and I'm glad Technorati takes the time to release these reports. I have felt for a long time that blogs were great place to get news from even with the "spin" added by the writer, because as you said atleast on a blog you know that there is a spin while on a newspaper or other news sources will "claim" they are just reporting. Anyhow, thanks for heads up on the report.

With news stories on blogs, if you agree or disagree with the content at least you can have your say about them via the comments section, something that's harder to do whilst reading the newspaper! And there is some satisfaction of having spoken your mind even if your comment isn't read or responded to.

In the blogsphere, one gets to establish two way and sometimes, community relationships, if one repeatedly visits the same blogs. This brings about a certain amount of sharing of thoughts and feelings that is totally absent in other media.

A very thoughtful and relevant post. Congratulations.
