I think that the content should never be compromised for ad’s or whatever. I think that there should be a conscious effort to confirm the facts that are put forward in your blog and there should be good proper punctuations!

Updating regularly is something that can make a big difference that makes sure that you will have people coming back to your site.

Also I always would remove authors of the blogs as top commenters, it looks very ‘noobish’ or beginner like.

Agreed. I always go back and visit people who are visiting my blog – but often times, that is because of #3, we share a common interest and are posting mutually relevant content =)

Well, it might if you end up being the top commentator. It leaves a spot open another blogger on your widget as well…you could always make it 11 instead of 10.

I don’t know. I kind of like it there to show that I actually read the comments and participate in discussion. Not everybody does that. Does it really bother people?

The blogs that I visit regularly include:
1.Those of others that comment on my blog.

2.People that I have developed a relationship. This is probably the one that brings me back more than any others.

3.Great useful content. Combining this with 2, is sure to bring me back many times.

There are so many blogs out there with scraped and useless content, some even post PLR articles.For a blog to be interesting it has to provide useful content.ItÂ´s better to post once per week a really excellent blog post, than to post a useless post every day.
