I think that it even applies beyond blogging. When I was 25 I already noticed that younger people look up to me. I was like "wow, what the heck, I'm just a regular guy", but then I realized that in todays society most young people have barely anyone to look up, growing up with single parents, corrupt and money hungry politicians, commercial overload all day long and celebrity bling bling. That's why a perfectly normal guy like Obama is such a huge success. A little integrity is enough for young people to choose you as a role model. Great points.
