		<description>I learned, don't assume you know the emotions behind the writing.  ie, don't jump to conclusions. 

Writing on the Internet removes all the emotional shadings that color real speech.  Thus, it's abundantly easy to mis-interpret what another might write, simply because of the personal emotional filter through which you read.

Standing back and taking a deep breath before reacting has saved many a person from beginning an un-needed negatvie confrontation.  Everyone has failed mind-reading 101 - asking for clarification always goes a long long way towards resolving any issues online.
