PureBlogging » Blog Archive » Meet the Team

This post is long overdue and for that I apologize.

As you know, a few weeks ago I made the decision to bring in a staff of writers to help generate content here at PureBlogging. I made a post here, bought an ad at ProBlogger, and contacted a few writers directly. The response was nothing short of incredible… over 100 writers expressed an interest in joining the team. Needless to say, I was amazed.

After taking a few days to go through the applicants I selected a group of writers that I felt would be able to create high quality content on a consistent basis. And so far, I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Let’s meet the team…

Michael Martine: Michael has been involved in web design since the mid 90s and blogging since 2000. He’s a blog coach and consultant and WordPress specialist who offers individual coaching and assistance with blogging projects for people or companies. He lives in beautiful Vermont, U.S.A., with his wife and family.

Steven Snell: Steven designs websites and maintains a blog for Vandelay Website Design. You can read more of his writing and see his portfolio at www.vandelaydesign.com.

Sharon Hurley Hall: Sharon is a born again blogger who has been writing for more than 20 years. She has written for newspapers and magazines and has taught journalism at university level. These days, Sharon is a freelance writer and ghostwriter who specializes in ebooks, SEO articles and blog posts. Sharon runs the freelance mentoring blog, Get Paid To Write Online. She also blogs for Daily Writing Tips and writes for Inspired Author and Garden and Hearth.

Kathryn Vercillo: Kathryn is a San Francisco based writer/blogger with an impressively diverse array of interests. She is particularly fascinated by all things related to technology and the Internet and loves researching and reporting on new trends in this area. You can find more of Kathryn’s work at KathrynVercillo.com.

Jim Smoot: Jim is a freelance writer, blogger, and entrepreneurial spirit. His passion (besides writing) is youth soccer, business management/leadership, and the restaurant industry. Most of Jim’s freelance work is done behind the scenes, providing content and materials for numerous websites and business. You can find more of Jim’s work at A Writer’s Journey.

Kevin Ott: Kevin is a freelance writer, actor and SEO copywriter living in Los Angeles.

Misti Sandefur: Misti has been freelance writing for more than eight years and blogging for over two. She’s been published in local, regional and national publications, both in print and online. When she’s not writing articles, personal essays or books, she’s blogging about her Life of a Writer. She also blogs about reality TV over at Teevieo.com. To find out more about Misti and view her portfolio, you can visit her official website.

Steven Finch: Steven is a new media expert that writes his own blog, Crenk. Crenk has been growing at an alarming rate and has also been linked to by the big boys in Tech News, such as Mashable, Techcrunch and Read/Write Web. If you like what you read on PureBlogging make sure you Subscribe to his blog Crenk. Steven was also asked to Founder and CEO a new project called Insomnia. Insomnia is a new media group which is focussed on developing internet companies. Their first project, RouteNote, launched in November.

I want to thank each and every one of you for deciding to take on this challenge. I’m happy to be working with you and look forward to whatever the future brings.

Quality content is always the goal… unfortunately, sometimes I don’t quite get there.

Yes, I will also be writing content. Right now I am focusing on a couple of other projects… one being a new blog that will officially launch in a couple of weeks.

I always like to say that it’s quality, not quantity!
