‘Twas the morning of Christmas, and all through the house,
Not a creature was blogging, nor clicking a mouse.

Bloggers spent time with their families and took their eyes off their screens,
And just for one day, they forgot about comment spam and other such things.

They gave gifts, opened presents, enjoyed good food and good company,
Without computers or iPods, and the only LEDs were the ones on the tree.

But I’ll tell you a secret thing that happened to me last night,
I think I saw St. Nicholas before he drove out of sight!

You see, my stocking was hung by the fire with care,
And I accidentally peeked in on Santa putting my AdSense check in there.

He put his finger to his lips, winked at me, and gave me a mischievous grin,
And as he rose up the chimney, I thought “Hey, that dude looked like Sergey Brin!”

Unfortunately, on a holiday I can’t put that check in the bank,
But for their day-after-Christmas presents, my family has an unusual “Santa” to thank!
