It’s been while but I think it’s time for another edition of Weekend Links! Just like the old days, on Fridays we will reward the active members of this community by featuring an interesting post from the top commentators.
If you would like to see your post featured here, just join the conversation by commenting regularly and next week you just may make the list.
Here’s this week’s list:
- Marco Richter is bringing out the link love!
- Michael Martine has big hot burning desires. Whoa, down boy!
- Steven Snell shares the biggest lesson he’s learned about blogging.
- Jamaipanese spent Saturday morning watching the Miss World Competition. Wow, maybe I should have too.
- Keiron has a passion for traffic.
- JoLynn Braley discusses the pros and cons of Stevia. I use it everyday… do you know what it is?
- Teejay gives us an easier way to monitor website downtimes.
- Jim shows the power of a simple link.
- Bush Mackel decides to get serious.
- Rhys reveals the three things that he would put into Room 101.
Wow, I see a lot familiar names on the list. Congratulations everyone, you’ve been stumbled… Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the mention, David. You have a great weekend, too!
You’re very welcome!
My State of the Union/Fixing Up series are something that I’m really putting a lot of effort into as far as showing how everyone can take their projects that are just sitting on the shelf and get them to somewhere that they can be proud of.
I’m very appreciative that you’re showing them some love! (#):D
Good luck! We’ll be rooting for you.
I’ve got a lot of half finished projects lying around too. Maybe I will find the inspiration and dedication to finish a few of them someday.
David, you’re back for real!
I just checked my stats and saw the traffic from stumbleupon and then saw that you stumbled my post on Stevia, thanks!
You use Stevia everyday??
Yep… I’m back!
I do use it everyday and have for probably over a year. I use it as a sweetener in my tea and in most other things. I have learned that it doesn’t taste quite right in some things but overall I think it’s a better option than using saccharine, aspartame, or any of that other junk.
I don’t know if I told you before but I was diagnosed as a diabetic about two years ago. I’m trying to live healthier and cutting out sugar is one of the things that I have tried to do. I’m not going to lie and say that I’ve cut it out completely but I’m trying to do better.
Hi David, thanks for letting me know, I had no idea you were diagnosed with diabetes. I also didn’t know you used Stevia, or were cutting out sugar. I’ll chat with you on this some more soon, in fact I’ll shoot you an email. Thanks!
Thanks David. It’s nice to see things picking up here!
You’re welcome! Yeah, I’m excited about getting things rolling around here again. It will be interesting to see how everyone responds to the new writers that will be joining in over the next two weeks.
Hi David. Thanks for the mention. Have a great weekend
Thanks, you too!
woohooo thanks David, glad you’re back
now I can look forward to my weekend traffic spikes ^_^
David, thanks for the link love.
You’re welcome and thank you for adding me to your list of blogs. I really appreciate it.
Hi David,
Thanks for the link - completely unexpected!
Just my little way of saying thanks for commenting. Hope to see you around here in the future.
Nice list of posts there. By the way, which plugin do you use to display the code buttons at the top of the comment text area??
Do you mean the Stumble, Sphinn, etc. button?
If so, it’s not a plugin. It’s just some code I dropped in my theme. Feel free to use it if you want… let me know if you need any help.
Great list. Thanks a lot!:)
