I've found that A-Listers will link to you if your content is worth it. Keep trying to push out those cornerstone posts. Just when you think no one is reading, then boom, out of nowhere, here come the links. Patience is a virtue when it comes to this. No one is going to link to you just because you think you rock. Just like in the cliquey high school days, once you got popular, then people would start wanting to hang around you more.
