Welcome to this week’s edition of Weekend Links! Every Friday, I reward the active members of this community by featuring an interesting post from the top commentators.
If you would like to see your post featured here, just join the conversation by commenting regularly and next week you just may make the list.
Here’s this week’s list:
- Tyson rambles about neopets, minimum wage blogging, and making money online.
- Search Engine Marketing is giving away a free Sony PlayStation 3… don’t forget he is also giving away a free Nintindo Wii.
- Saman Sadeghi shows you how to hide icons in the notification area of Windows.
- Community Building provides a list of the top 5 blog usability tips.
- JoLynn Braley breaks down the good and bad of diet herbal teas.
- webd360 has started a list of all the blogs with top commentators plugin installed. Are you listed?
- CutieGadget has a little something for you Star Wars freaks… the R2-D2 Projector and Media Player.
- Jamaipanese has a new design and celebrates 45 years of Jamaican independence.
- Ashwini reviews Haloscan - the new blogger onsite comment form.
- vandelay gives 10 ways to design for impatient visitors.
Congratulations everyone, you’ve been stumbled… Have a great weekend!

The new design has been getting positive feedback so far.
Thanks again D!
I’m working on a new design too, but it’s taking way longer then I thought. Maybe I’ll have it done for my 1 Year Anniversary…
David,
Thanks as always for the plug!
Darin
Thanks for the link David!
Once again, thanks for the Link Love

Looks like I’m too gettting in it
Thanks again!
This is my first time visiting the site but I must say that the Weekend Links idea is a great approach to inspiring visitors to comment and further contribute to the site. It’s the kind of thing I would love to implement on my personal blog but wouldn’t know where to begin.
Great work with the site and I hope it becomes even more successful.
Steve
it’s not that hard Fable, you should give it a try
[...] of Pureblogging.com is one of the first blogs that I became aware of that does the top commentators post. David has an awesome blog with lots of info on Blogging, which ranges from basic to [...]
This is a bit late (been busy), but thanks for the linklove and stumble
What a creative concept….to encourage the readers to participate here. Do you also go comment on their blogs in return then? I have enough trouble returning blog comments to encourage more!
That is a rather compelling list of links. I just need more spare time..
Hey, I know I’m catching up on my commenting, but that is a great idea about the top commentators listing. I wasn’t listed, but I hopped on over to let webd360 know that I use it, too….
Great list, as always…
