Maybe I should have bought a lottery ticket this weekend…
On Friday, I found out that I had been selected as the winner of the $100 cash prize from Blog-Contests.com. Thanks guys! By the way, they have added an interesting twist to the contest listings on their site… not only will you find great contests, you can actually vote for your favorites. Be sure to check them out if your looking for more blog contests to enter.
But the good news doesn’t stop there… A few minutes ago, I was informed that my post has been selected as one of the $100 winners in Daniel’s Blog Project Three. How cool is that? A big thank you goes to everyone that voted for me… I really appreciate it!

Nah - you did the right thing by not playing the lottery. The lottery is luck, and the contest you won required you winning over people’s votes.
For those of you that like to create multiple websites and what a user driven community like blog-contest.com, head on over to the Pligg website. Pligg is a Digg style web application that runs on php and mysql, just like wordpress. They are at beta .96 and should be out with the first true version this fall.

Well I know I would be interested in a blog review by you, and it wouldn’t cost you anything other than some time. If you really want to use the money maybe you can buy the winner a review on another blog or directory submissions or something.

What I really need is an idea for the actual contest not the prizes. I don’t really want to do another “review my blog and I’ll pick a random winner” contest and I don’t think I have enough readers to do a writing project like DailyBlogTips and ProBlogger.
Maybe I should have a contest to determine my next contest…
Well you don’t have that many subscribers however I think you have quite a bit and are doing exceptional for the amount of time you’ve been online.
You could do something regular but throw a slight twist on it. If you want to talk about it send me an email
