We all know that posting comments on related blogs is great way to get your blog noticed by influential people in your niche. Unfortunately, tracking all those comments can be a real pain.
Some blogs allow you to subscribe to an individual post’s comments via email but what if you want to follow the comments on a large number of posts? You could get hundreds of email reminders each day. Fortunately, there is an easier way.
All three of these services makes it easy to track your comments.
co.mments
co.mments is a very simple way to track comment conversations. After registering, you add a bookmarklet to your browser and the next time you want to track a conversation simply click on the new bookmarklet. The conversation will then be recorded for you. You can track your conversations on the co.mments site or subscribe to your conversation via an RSS feed.
Commentful
Commentful is a service that helps you track blog posts and notifies you when a new comment has been added. After creating an account and installing the Firefox plugin you can right click on any post that you want to track and select “Add to Commentful”. A little light bulb in your Firefox status area lets you know if there are new comments. If you don’t use Firefox, you can add pages to your watchlist using a bookmarklet.
coComment
coComment keeps track of all the online conversations you’re following in one convenient place, and informs you whenever something is added to a conversation. coComment is the easiest to use because it has the ability to automatically track any blog or site where you post a comment. That’s right, you just post your comments and it takes care of the rest!
coComment also adds a toolbar to the comment form of most of the blogs that you visit allowing you to tag your comments.

Thanks, I’ll check it out.
thanks for stopping by
had you already had the idea for this article before or after you decided to enter it for dailyblogtips ?
I decided on this topic after deciding to participate.
Actually, a reader emailed me on Friday asking if I had tried any of these services. And I thought… hmmm… that sounds like a good post for Daniel’s writing project. I had another idea but decided to go with this one instead.
I generally avoid subscribe comment, by post as sometimes comment spam also reach in our inbox and sometime we receive email after 6 months of commenting, so that is not pretty useful. But the services which you recommended are appears to be useful. Will try some.
I found this post via dailyblogtips here is my entry, you may check

I agree, I also avoid the subscribe to comments via email.
Thanks for the link.
I subscribe to comments if I feel there is an interesting discussion going on and I want to participate. It is an useful option to have.
I also don’t subscribe comment… I just post comment when the post is interesting. By The Way, I haven’t try those 3 comment service… Which one should I pick?
I havent used any of them either. But I believe that coComment is the most popular option.
I would say coComment is the most popular but I think I like Commentful the most. I can be more selective with what I track and coComment has a few problems as mention by JoLynn in her comment below.
Thanks for that. I was just coming to ask which one you prefer and there it is
Nice post. And best of luck regarding the contest.
I am also participating in it
Awesome! I have often wondered what those services offer, and now that my inbox is full to the brim of comments from other blogs, I feel I should invest in one of them. Nice work!
I would link to my entry, but you already have

Wow! I had never heard of these sites. Excellent.
I am going to have try them out, I get tired of going through an enormous amount of email to keep track of conversations.
Which one is your favorite?
All the best,
George
Hi George,
I am currently using Commentful.

Love the comment trackers. I’m going to go with co.mments; the name is attractive too.
Wow, wish I would have heard of the writing project, looks like the deadline was yesterday so it’s too late to enter now.
I loved the Problogger group writing project and this would have been similar.
Oops, meant to add….thanks for the 3 comment tracking suggestions David…I will try one of or both of the first 2.
BTW, I was using cocomment previously but it doesn’t work with blogs using the “reply to this comment” plugin. I also think there are other bugs with it because it didn’t work on a few other blogs that weren’t even using that plugin, so I stopped using it.

[...] 5. coComment Enhancer Since I often comment on blogs, I want to follow conversations. This can get tricky sometimes, seeing as my previous method was to bookmark the URLs of pages where I had made comments. Thankfully, I found coComment which made this an easier process. I use the coComment Enhancer on Jatecblog so that others can discover this wonderful service. If you find coComment is not for you, that are other similar services. [...]
So excited for this..
Although I stopped subscribing to comments due to the emails and distraction, now I will actually be more distracted

For now, the majority of my comments come from my head, and that’s easy to keep track of! I’ll look into that when I start rollin’ in comments..
Ever since starting to comment a lot on different blogs I have gotten so lost about where I posted and if anyone responded to my comments. Now I know how! This will get me noticed…
I knew about blogflux, but the other two were still undiscovered for me, will soon check them out.
Blogflux is really useful I incorporated it into my Africa blog,
I will try this and see how it works out
Thanks
