I’m working on an idea for a new contest and will hopefully have all the details worked in the next couple of days. In my quest for contest ideas, I did a lot blog hopping have and run across some interesting tidbits.
Here’s a sampling of what I found:
- Ms. Danielle is giving away the 30GB Microsoft Zune that she won from John Chow. Who knows, maybe you can win it and give it away in your own contest.
- WeblogToolsCollection is running a Wordpress Plugin Competition.
- SplashPress Media has re-launched EatonWeb, the oldest blog directory on the Web, and you can read more about why you should care over at Performancing.
- NetBusinessBlog has been sold and the new guy has taken over. Congratulations and good luck Adrian!
- Courtney Tuttle wants to give you his paycheck.
- Andy Beard gives us 32 forms of linking payola. I’m not sure which reason this link would fall under… maybe number 5 or 9.
- Linkrambler lists 106 ways to make money online.
I love the advent of the blog contest. It takes community to a new level by rewarding your readers in a tangible way. I’ve enjoyed the contests in which I have participated and even won once.
I need to get my act together and sponsor a contest on my blog.
Contests are great! They are a lot fun and it’s good to give back to your readers occasionally.
There has been alot going on these past few days!

Thanks for letting us know about the blogging competitions to win prizes. I enjoy reading them but I have yet to enter into one of them. I might have to add this one on my list of things to do or start a competition give away for my own blog.

But too bad I know this blog too late… I think I have to check this blog more frequently or subscribe the feed..
Linkrambler has a nice list of 106 ways to earn money, but I do not think they are all ways to make money online.
