Welcome to this week’s edition of Weekend Links! Every Friday, I reward the active members of this community by featuring an interesting post from the top commentators.
If you would like to see your post featured here, just join the conversation by commenting regularly and next week you just may make the list.
Here’s this week’s list:
- Search Engine Marketing gives us the lowdown on Mahalo the new human powered search engine.
- Roberta Ferguson brings back memories of the good old days with a review of Guns & Roses: Appetite For Destruction.
- Bobs invites 2 Perfect to take a seat at the table of Knighthood.
- JoLynn wonders if food addiction can lead to drug addiction.
- Community Building Blog finishes up his series on Link building with some tips on creating awareness.
- jake tries to recover from having his site hacked.
- Adam and Lizzie are vacationing with Twitter in OBX.
- Grace offers some advice on managing technical difficulties.
- KidBlogger shares 5 things you (probably) didn’t know about blogging.
- Romantic Ideas gives us 10 reasons why blogging is like dating.
I also want to apologize for not being as active here this week as usual. We’ve been working on a few new projects and I wasn’t able to participate as much as I would like but next week should be back to normal.
Want to see one of the things we have been working on? Well, check out SciCastLive.com… it’s a new digg-like site for science and technology. It is still in the very early stages of development but we hope to see rapid growth over the next few weeks. If you have a blog about science, technology, health, nutrition, space, or any other related topic feel free to submit your articles.
We also welcome any suggestions that you have for improving the site or additional categories that should be added. And as always, I look forward to hearing your feedback.
Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the link! This was the first time I have written a series of articles on my blog.
I think that overall, it has been a real success and has made people aware of the fact that link building is more than just a way of generating direct traffic.

I thought you did a great job with your series. Very valuable information that I’m sure brought a lot of people back for more… I know I enjoyed it.
Thanks for the link. Your Digg-like site is going very well. I see it’s still in beta. Looking forward to it when it comes out of beta! Have a great weekend!
I think we are getting close… got instant messaging setup and working this weekend and people can now post editorials as well as submit articles that are already published somewhere else. Oh, and added the ability to submit videos but that still needs a little more testing.
We’ve only been accepting submission for a couple of days but I think it’s going well.
I’m afraid so… Unfortunately, I’ve missed your list the last two weeks.
We have to do something about this work nonsense that’s getting in the way of our blogging!
Thanks for the link-back!
No problem. I have to support my fellow knights.
Hey, Just Stumbled Upon your blog. Gave you a thumbs up and wanted to say… Hello as I was passing through. I did surf a little while I was here.
Hey David,
Glad you could stop by… and thanks for the thumbs up!
Nice! That’s awesome that someone added your blog to StumbleUpon!
IMO it’s better traffic then Digg….
Thanks again for the mention David, you are the man.
It was an awesome time in OBX.
Lots of messing around with twitter.
Glad you enjoyed the break… we all need to get away occasionally.
Just joined SciCastLive, will do a blog post on it for you some time this week. Also bookmarked, and will twitter it as well.
Thanks Adam, I really appreciate it!
Thanks for the link love!
Darin
