MySpace News is a new news aggregator that has the potential to send your blog a lot of readers. MySpace will take news from around the web and allow it’s users to vote on the stories that they find interesting. There doesn’t appear to be much activity yet but with their immense traffic base that should certainly change.
Much like other social news sites, an articles rating will influence the order in which it appears in the listings. Anyone can browse and read news but according to their FAQs, you will have to be a MySpace member to vote.
The good news is, you can submit your site/blog/RSS feed for inclusion. All you need to do is enter the title, url, and select a category.
It only takes a minute and who knows, MySpace News may start driving traffic your way.

It is huge isn’t it. I do use it periodically, but almost every time I use it, I wonder why people are so enthralled with it.
I would love it if they would adopt a wordpress platform for their blog posts.

I submitted but even if they choose to include my feed I don’t expect to get much traffic. I suspect the MySpace crowd is more interested in Britney Spears’ panties than they are in blogging but who knows…

Did it on the launch day … got some hits … but you have to have a site thats in sync with the myspace crowd … i think … it’s mostly a bunch of high school kids using myspace … I have an account and haven’t logged in …. over 2 weeks now … so not sure …

This is a great tip and i’m sure over time with reap some traffic as it gets more popular. When I test it out i’ll be sure to post my experience.
I submitted my blog as well, nothing yet in terms of results but I guess time will tell.

I submitted my feed on 4/17 but so far haven’t seen any traffic from it. I’m interested to see if anything does come of it.
